Sens Informatique = Télécharger (un logiciel, une vidéo, etc.), vers un ordinateur distant.

Bref !! ensuite c'est juste une mini traduction rien de fini/officiel et comme l'extension n est encore en phase de test,, chacun modifie les fichiers à sa guise !!

Ensuite, j'ai proposer ma traduction (même si je dois encore la revoir), libre à Chicos de mettre celle qu'il veut, personnellement, j'ai une vie à côté et rien à prouver ici comme sur .com ou .fr :)

Resumindo!! Esta é apenas uma mini-tradução, nada está finalizado e, como a extensão ainda está em fase de testes, cada um pode modificar os arquivos como achar melhor !!

Então, ofereci minha tradução (embora ainda precise revisá-la), Chicos é livre para usar a que quiser. Pessoalmente, tenho uma vida fora disso e nada a provar aqui como no .com ou .fr :)

Certainly this verb is commonly used but let’s avoid any anglicism in a French translation file.

If you checked on Google Translate for upload, we would indeed have given the translation 'download'. Personally, I would have used 'uploader' as well to make the distinction between down/up.

If you use "uploader" you will be perfectly understood even if this word does not exist officially in French, and this is the case for quite a few words related to computer science. For example, the French academy recommends 'chat' (keyboard contraction and chatting) for 'to chat' (on an online lounge), but everyone says 'chatter', in France at least, it may be different in other French-speaking countries.
Téléverser is a neologism recognized by the French Academy.
It was formed from the TV prefix 'at a distance' and the word 'verser', which has the advantage of indicating a notion of direction: files are deposited on the remote server.
We can then distinguish the two actions of downloading and uploading and thus get rid of the English term "uploader"
